DMCI Homes marked the addition of a new mid-rise condo community in Parañaque City’s rich subdivision landscape with the launching of the Asteria Residences information center recently.

The seven-building Asteria Residences is DMCI Homes’ latest resort-themed community rising in a 2.7-hectare property along San Pedro Street, San Antonio Valley 2 in Barangay San Isidro. Its information center and showroom located in the second floor of the Cocolife Building at the corner of N. Lopez Street and Dr. A. Santos Avenue was blessed during a well-attended high tea event on Sept. 21.

DMCI Homes Vice President for Project Development Alma Florendo and Senior Marketing Manager Jan Venturanza graced the blessing of the information center before cutting the ceremonial ribbon for the two-bedroom model unit of Asteria Residences. Father Robert Ngairi of Mary Queen of Apostles Parish held the Mass andblessing also attended by homebuyers and other guests. The traditional coin-tossing followed while the serving of delightful sandwiches, pastries and an assortment of tea to everyone capped the event.

The occasion also served as a celebration as the condo project has been well-received by the market.

Mary Grace Habulan, Project Development Officer of DMCI Homes, attributes the appeal of Asteria Residences to its affordability, beauty, amenities, resort feel and location that are hallmarks of DMCI Homes’ mid-rise and high-rise developments. Its 2- and 3-bedroom homes in the Nerine and Vinca buildings have unit areas of 49.5 to 65 square meters priced from P2.5 million to P3 million.

The Asteria Residences model unit designed by DMCI Homes in-house interior designer Mark Laroco mirrors the ideal home or half-way house for startup families and professionals from Parañaque, surrounding cities of Muntinlupa and Las Piñas, and Cavite. Each unit is complete with living and dining areas, kitchen, bedrooms, toilet and bath, service area and balcony. Each unit has its own electric meter and provisions for air-conditioning units, cable TV and telephone line connections, smoke detectors and washing machine.

The Nerine and Vinca are scheduled for completion in April and July 2017, respectively. The other six-level buildings are Mimosa, Lucerne, Begonia, Heather and Cercis. All structures are in Neo-Asian Minimalist architecture and each has central garden atriums in the ground floor as well as single-loaded hallways and end-to-end breezeways in every floor for maximum natural ventilation and lighting. Unit doors do not face each other for extra privacy.

Each building also has elevators, multilevel parking, mailboxes, 24-hour security, fire alarm system, fire hose cabinets at the corridors, fire exits in both wings, stand-by power generator and Wi-Fi. Additional conveniences are provided by a convenience store, laundry station and water station. An underground cistern ensures sanitation. The entire community is secured by a gated entrance, perimeter fence and security guards on 24-hour duty.

The residential buildings surround Asteria Residences’ main amenity area consisting of separate swimming pools for adult and children, a pool deck and shower area, a basketball court/play court, a palm plaza, open lawn or picnic grove, children's playground, landscaped gardens, and gazebo or cabana. There is also clubhouse housing the indoor amenities such as a fitness gym, game area, lounge, entertainment room, function hall and landscaped atriums.

The location’s reasonable distance from the main road, Dr. A. Santos Avenue, also promises residents a soothingly quiet neighborhood and at the same time easy access to shopping malls, schools, hospitals, the airport, business districts and the South Luzon Expressway.

All homes in Asteria Residences are built according to DMCI Homes trusted quality standards honed by the residential resort leader’s decades of experience in residential community development.
